VeRUS for Veterans

VeRUS for Veterans is a nonprofit organization that offers a platform for local businesses, organizations, and community to join together to help our men, women, and canine military. The V4V volunteers are dedicated to helping our combat veterans that have risked their lives and sacrificed for our country to regain independence after experiencing events that we civilians could never fathom. VéRUS Pet foods, based in Abingdon MD and founders of VeRUS for Veterans, Dave and Krystle Eder, created this framework with one vision in mind: Leave no soldier behind.

Who does VeRUS for Veterans Inc. help? Combat men, women, and canine veterans and the organizations supporting them including but not limited to Service dog training programs to assist with physical disabilities from combat, mitigate the symptoms of PTSD or TBI, among any other need for a service dog post war; Finding homes for retired Military War Dogs; Paying the adoption fees for a sheltered companion animal for our active/retired military; Handling the costs of travel for our MWD (Military War Dogs) to return home from their deployment.
