Welcome! The Board Advisor Firm helps create scalable companies, stronger senior managers, and stronger Boards.
This is accomplished while working alongside the Board Chair/members and executive(s) as an advisor rather than a consultant.
The principles at the foundation of strong Boards are found in policy-based governance. That is, policies which create a framework within which the organization’s senior managers can do their work creatively and efficiently. This framework is based on the strategy and vision of the Board of Directors in governing the organization’s overall mission and purpose.
Organizations, both for-profit and non-profit, that embed policy-based governance into their leadership culture will find creativity released and accomplish more with the same resources. Boards will be focused on “Board work”, senior managers will be focused on executing strategy and operations, and staff will be focused on delivering consistently high quality products and services each day.
